טענו, החליפו והסירו חומר מהאולטימייקר 2+ קונקט
Before you can start printing on the Ultimaker 2+ Connect, you need to load material into the printer. For the first use, it is recommended to use the spool of PLA that came with the Ultimaker 2+ Connect, but other material types can be used as well.
This page explains how to load material on your Ultimaker 2+ Connect for the first time, as well as how to change and unload material spools.
Note: Material handling on the Ultimaker 2+ Connect is different compared to other Ultimaker 3D printers. The Ultimaker 2+ Connect does not have an automated loading or unloading procedure. Instead, after opening the feeder lever, the material is pushed through or pulled back by hand.
Load material
Select the Materials menu on the touchscreen display and navigate to Load material. Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Select the material type and wait for the nozzle to heat up.
- Unpack the material and cut off the end, ensuring a short, sharp tip.
- Place the spool on the spool holder with the material in counterclockwise direction.
Tip: Straighten the end of the material so it can easily enter the feeder.
- Open the feeder lever, insert the filament into the feeder, and push it through to the print head.
- Close the feeder lever.
- Confirm that the spool is loaded and wait for the material to extrude from the nozzle.
The material is now ready for printing! Make sure that the material type selected for your print job in Ultimaker Cura matches the filament loaded on the printer.
Change material
Easily change between different material types or colors on your Ultimaker 2+ Connect.
Select the Materials menu on the touchscreen display and navigate to Change material. Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Select the new material type. If you want to load a new spool of the same material, select Yes. If you are changing to a different material, select No and choose the new material type on the next screen.
- Wait for the nozzle to heat up.
- Open the feeder lever, pull the material out through the Bowden tube, and remove the spool from the spool holder.
- Place the new spool on the spool holder with the material in counterclockwise direction.
Tip: Straighten the end of the material so it can easily enter the feeder.
- Insert the filament into the feeder and push it through to the print head.
- Close the feeder lever.
- Confirm that the spool is loaded and wait for the material to extrude from the nozzle.
- Confirm and wait for the nozzle to cool down after this procedure.
Tip: When changing to a material that has very different printing settings, such as a much higher or lower printing temperature, it is recommended to clean the inside of the nozzle to avoid problems with material residue.
Unload material
Follow these instructions when you only want to unload the currently installed spool of material, without directly loading a new material.
Select the Materials menu on the touchscreen display and navigate to Unload material. Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Wait for the nozzle to heat up.
- Open the feeder lever, pull the material out through the Bowden tube and feeder.
- Remove the spool from the spool holder.
- Confirm to finish the unloading procedure.
After unloading a material spool, make sure to store it properly to maintain the filament’s properties. More information about filament storage recommendations can be found on this page.
